Our busiest times are generally:
Weekdays: 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Outside of these hours, members often enjoy an even quieter training environment.
Because we intentionally limit membership capacity, even our peak hours remain significantly less crowded than most commercial gyms.
-
Our facility features a wide selection of commercial-grade strength and cardio equipment designed to accommodate beginners, experienced lifters, and everyone in between.
Rather than listing every machine, we invite you to explore our Facility Gallery to see the equipment and training environment for yourself.

Coaching Questions
-
No.

Whether you're looking for a place to work out or a comprehensive coaching experience, we'll help you find the membership that best fits your goals.

-
Yes.
Every coaching program is built around your individual goals, fitness level, training experience, schedule, and any physical limitations you may have.
Rather than following a one-size-fits-all workout, your program is designed specifically for you and adjusted as your progress continues.
-
Yes.
Nutrition is an important part of achieving long-term results. Our coaching programs include practical nutrition guidance designed to help you build sustainable eating habits rather than relying on restrictive diets or short-term solutions.
Recommendations are personalized to your goals and lifestyle, making them easier to maintain over time.
-
No.
We believe successful nutrition should fit your lifestyle—not the other way around.
Rather than requiring rigid meal plans, our coaching focuses on sustainable habits, flexible nutrition strategies, and realistic recommendations that can be maintained long after your coaching program ends.
-
We use multiple methods to help you monitor your progress over time.
Depending on your membership, this may include:
Styku 3D body scans
Body composition measurements
Progress photos

Strength milestones
Goal reviews with your coach
We focus on meaningful progress rather than relying solely on the number on a scale.
-
Meeting frequency depends on the coaching program you choose.
Some memberships include regular monthly progress reviews, while others feature scheduled one-on-one personal training sessions multiple times each week.
During your consultation, we'll recommend the coaching option that best supports your goals and schedule.

-
Yes.
Weight loss is one of the most common goals we help members pursue. Through a combination of strength training, cardiovascular exercise, nutrition coaching, accountability, and progress tracking, we help members build sustainable habits that support long-term success.
Our focus is creating lasting lifestyle changes, not quick fixes.
-
Absolutely.
Whether your goal is increasing strength, building muscle, improving athletic performance, or simply becoming healthier, our coaches create programs tailored to your objectives and experience level.
Every recommendation is built around helping you make consistent, measurable progress.
-
Your safety always comes first.
During your consultation, we'll discuss your health history, previous injuries, and any physical limitations that may affect your training. When appropriate, your coach will modify exercises and build a program that helps you train safely while working toward your goals.
If needed, we also offer corrective exercise services for individuals requiring additional movement assessment and exercise modification.
-
Yes.
Our coaching programs can be tailored for a wide variety of performance goals, including recreational sports, endurance events, strength competitions, obstacle races, tactical fitness, and general athletic development.
We'll build your training plan around the demands of your event while balancing your overall health and recovery.
-
Our philosophy is simple: coaching should be personal.
Rather than assigning generic workout plans or checking in occasionally, our coaches work to understand your goals, lifestyle, and challenges so they can provide meaningful guidance throughout your fitness journey.
We believe lasting results come from consistent support, individualized programming, and strong relationships—not one-size-fits-all solutions.
-
Yes.
Whenever possible, you'll work with the same dedicated coach throughout your coaching journey. Building a long-term relationship allows your coach to better understand your goals, training history, preferences, and progress over time.
If your needs change or scheduling requires a different coach, we'll make every effort to ensure a smooth transition and continued support.
New Member Questions
-
Absolutely.
Everyone starts somewhere, and many of our members joined Hixon Fitness with little or no previous gym experience.
Our team is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace without feeling intimidated. Whether your goal is improving your health, losing weight, building strength, or simply becoming more active, we'll help you get started with confidence.
We believe choosing a gym should be an informed decision, not a rushed sales pitch. Every consultation is conducted one-on-one with a member of our team so we can recommend the membership that best fits your goals, schedule, and budget.
-
Your first visit is designed to help you feel comfortable and informed.
During your membership consultation, you'll meet with a member of our team, tour the facility, discuss your goals, review membership options, and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
You'll also receive a complimentary day pass so you can experience the facility before making your decision.
There is never any obligation to join during your visit.
-
We recommend bringing:
Comfortable workout clothing
Athletic shoes
A water bottle (or purchase a beverage at the gym)
Any personal workout accessories you'd like to use
Complimentary workout towels are provided, and members are welcome to bring their own if preferred.
-
That's exactly what your consultation is for.
Rather than asking you to choose from a list online, we'll take time to understand your goals, experience level, schedule, and budget before recommending the membership that best fits your needs.
Our goal is to help you choose the right solution, not simply the most comprehensive one.
-
Results vary depending on your goals, consistency, nutrition, and overall lifestyle.
Many members begin noticing improvements in energy, strength, and confidence within the first several weeks, while physical changes typically develop over time through consistent effort.
Our focus is helping you build sustainable habits that lead to long-term success rather than short-term results.
-
That's perfectly okay.
Every new member receives a complimentary goal-setting session where we'll help familiarize you with the facility and answer any questions about using the equipment safely and effectively.
If you're looking for additional guidance, our coaching services provide personalized instruction and ongoing support as you continue your fitness journey.
-
It's a common concern, and one we take seriously.
Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds, ages, and fitness levels. Whether you're beginning your fitness journey or returning after years away, you'll find a respectful, encouraging environment focused on personal progress, not comparison.
Our goal is for every member to feel welcomed, supported, and comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.
-
Both options are available.
Many members prefer the independence of working out on their own with 24/7 facility access, while others enjoy the added accountability and structure that coaching provides.
Whether you choose independent training or personalized coaching, you'll have access to the same clean, professional facility and supportive community.
-
That depends on your goals, schedule, and current fitness level.
For many adults, exercising three to five times per week provides an excellent balance between progress and recovery. During your consultation, we'll discuss your goals and help you develop a realistic routine that fits your lifestyle.
Consistency is always more important than perfection.
-
That's completely normal.
As your fitness improves, your priorities may evolve as well. Whether you decide to pursue new performance goals, lose additional weight, build strength, or transition into a coaching program, we're here to help you adjust your plan along the way.
Fitness is a lifelong journey, and your membership should continue supporting you as your goals evolve.
-
In many cases, you can begin as soon as you've completed your membership consultation and enrollment.
Once you're enrolled, you'll receive your facility access credentials and can begin using the gym right away. If you've selected a coaching membership, we'll also schedule your initial coaching sessions and begin building your personalized program.
Because Hixon Fitness intentionally limits membership to maintain a high-quality training environment, there may be times throughout the year when certain membership options are placed on a waitlist. If a waitlist is in effect, we'll explain the expected timeline during your consultation and keep you informed as space becomes available.
Hixon Fitness Policies
-
Members may cancel their membership by completing a cancellation form in person and providing a 30-day written notice.
If your next scheduled payment falls within that 30-day notice period, it will still be processed. You'll continue to enjoy full access to the facility for the entire period you've paid for.
Membership fees are non-refundable.
-
In certain circumstances, membership holds may be approved at the discretion of management.
Please note that a membership freeze is not a cancellation. When a hold is established, your future billing date is scheduled in advance and your membership will automatically resume at the end of the approved hold period.
For holds expected to exceed 90 days, we generally recommend cancelling your membership and rejoining when you're ready to return.
-
We accept:
Major credit cards
Debit cards
FSA/HSA cards (when applicable)
At this time, we do not accept cash or personal checks for membership payments.
-
Standard memberships are billed on either the 1st or the 15th of each month.
Coaching memberships begin on your scheduled start date and renew every four weeks based on that start date.

If a payment cannot be processed, our team will first attempt to contact you to resolve the issue.
A 72-hour grace period is provided before facility access is suspended. Once your account has been brought current, your access will be restored.

Protecting the privacy of our members is one of our highest priorities, and we ask everyone to be mindful of others when using mobile devices.

To help maintain a safe and organized workout environment, bags should not be left on the workout floor.
-
We provide liquid chalk for members who need additional grip during their workouts.

No.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited anywhere inside the facility.
-
While uncommon, power or internet outages can temporarily affect our electronic access system.
If an outage occurs, we'll provide updates through our social media channels and the Hixon Fitness App as information becomes available.
-
We intentionally limit membership to preserve the experience our members expect.
Rather than maximizing the number of memberships sold, we focus on maintaining comfortable workout conditions, equipment availability, cleanliness, and personalized service. During periods of high demand, some membership options may be placed on a waitlist until space becomes available.
-
Hixon Fitness is designed primarily for adults and does not offer childcare services.
Children may accompany a parent or guardian when visiting the facility for administrative purposes, such as joining or cancelling a membership. However, children are not permitted to remain in the facility while a parent or guardian works out.
If a child is present for one of these brief visits, they must remain with the parent or guardian at all times and may not use or interact with any fitness equipment or enter active workout areas.
This policy helps us maintain a safe environment for all members while minimizing distractions on the training floor.
